In 2017, IVY, the national organization with operations and supporters in the top 7 U.S. markets, is partnering with The New York Film Critics to bring quarterly quality independent films to their audience.

Each set of screenings will kick off with a talent supported New York red carpet screening and include a Q&A with the talent hosted by film critic Peter Travers of Rolling Stone. The evenings start with a pre-screening reception.

These Q&As, along with the screenings, are broadcast not only to IVY’s six other markets, but a total of 63 theaters across the country, giving brand partners extensive reach to independent film enthusiasts (10,000 per event). The screenings include pre-roll footage and integration with the evening’s partners in addition to red carpet & Q&A footage.

To further amplify a partnership, regional media partners can be utilized, including partner publications like MANHATTAN Magazine and LA Confidential.

In April, “Papa: Hemingway in Cuba”, the very first film to shoot on location in Cuba since 1959, was shown in NYC, followed by screenings in other markets. The film’s stars, Adrian Sparks and Giovanni Ribisi, and Director Bob Yari, participated in a Q & A after the film. To view photos, click here.

A partnership can be for 1 film series or the annual series of 4 quarterly screenings, and can also tie in with other IVY programming.
